Stranger than fiction, weirder than fact, and yet, somewhat disturbing in isolation. It is hard to bring reality to the screen, many have tried around the world that we inhabit, or worlds these days. The question is not 'should we applaud these larger than life efforts?' but perhaps more 'from where have these people escaped?'. Even for a wordsmith of my eloquential and multi-linguistical talents I too am somewhat bereft of words for what has happened at a certain Witches Have Talent programme recently aired on k343.

Back to the telecast. A young Stormsie presented himself as a contender for the crown but with a mere flick of a cat's tail found himslef in an alternate reality. His flowing white locks had been smothered by sound enhancing double-dual-coupling-effect-pitch-reverberating headphones. These noise chargers can amplify a pin drop to disproportionate levels resembling an atomic reaction. Through the latest in greentooth-wiresome technology Stormsie was transfixed as Her Loveliness Herself Queen LW recounted ancient rhymes for his excitement.

The effect was instantaneous as tears flowed from his eyes, well nose and mouth also, as he sank to his knees, arms aloft begging her to ...., well we are not sure as we could not really hear his screams above hers.

In the end a herd of cats swarmed on to the stage bringing dead offerings to Her Loveliness and Dozy helped his brother into the recovery position, it had been too much of a shock for the poor fellow.

The judges were undecided what to do after such a performance, but luckily a member of the crowd, aka Lunatic, strode up to the desk and pressed the Golden Green Buzzer.

Lucky old Stormsie, he gets to hear the performance again in the next round.
